What's New for the 2026 BMW 3 Series?

The BMW 3 Series gets just a few updates for the 2026 model year. This year, the 3 Series adds a few standard features, including a digital key entry system and more standard safety technology. The 3 Series remains a top choice in its class of small luxury sedans, however, for its winning combination of power, aesthetics, and comfort.

What Are the 2026 BMW 3 Series Trims & Features?

The 2026 BMW 3 Series is produced in two trim levels: the 330i and the M340i.

Starting off the lineup is the 330i. This trim's exterior includes 18-inch wheels, a sunroof, and LED headlights. Inside, you'll find plenty of space in the cabin and upscale materials. The 330i is also a tech-savvy ride with a 12.3-inch driver's information display and a 14.9-inch central display, both curved. The 330i also includes a wireless device charger, wireless Android Auto®, and wireless Apple CarPlay®. With this trim, a 10-speaker sound system and cloud-based navigation are standard. For comfort, you'll get heated and power-adjustable front seats with the 330i, along with comfortable synthetic leather seats. Ambient cabin lights add to the trim's upscale vibes.

Next is the M340i. This trim has a different mechanical configuration for more power and speed. It also has a sportier appearance with an aerodynamic body kit, a rear spoiler, a unique grille and front bumper design, M Sport brakes, a power-operated trunk lid, and blue brake calipers. The interior features a sporty M steering wheel, and keyless entry is standard. There are more standard safety aids with this trim level.
