The 2025 BMW X1 is a well-rounded small SUV with much to offer. The latest X1 model adds a few more standard features to its long list of amenities, and you can also choose from more add-on options to enhance your ride. Otherwise, the 2025 X1 continues to stand out for its spacious interior, high-tech amenities, sporty ride, and quick acceleration.

What Are the 2025 X1 Trims & Features?

There are two trim levels in the 2025 X1 lineup.

The base model is called the xDrive28i. Like the higher-end trim, it seats five occupants. It has various safety and infotainment features, including built-in navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, a 10.7-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument panel, and ambient interior lighting. The base model has dual-zone climate control and heated front seats for maximum comfort, and the standard power liftgate makes loading and unloading cargo safer and easier. Outside, it has a sleek design complete with 18-inch wheels.

The second trim in the X1 lineup is the M35i xDrive. This trim level upgrades to 19-inch wheels and has an upgraded braking system with distinctive blue brake calipers. It also adds adaptive headlights. Adaptive suspension dampers give the M35i a more comfortable ride and enhanced handling stability. A wireless charging pad and a Harman Kardon sound system are added inside.

Both trim levels offer a variety of packages, including additional features like a panoramic sunroof, an automated parking system, an interior camera, and unique styling accents inside and out. Remote engine start is available for both models, while the M35i can get sporty seats, and the base model can add a trailer hitch.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 X1 Have?

The base trim uses a turbo 2.0L engine with four cylinders that reach 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The top trim has a specially tuned engine that generates up to 312 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard, and both trims have an automatic transmission.

What Safety Features Does the 2025 X1 Include?

The 2025 X1 has standard parking sensors, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking. The top trim optionally offers a Driving Assistance Plus package with adaptive cruise control and a lane-centering system.
