What's New for the 2025 BMW 4 Series?

In 2025, the BMW 4 Series gets a few tweaks to its aesthetic design and technology. This year's 4 Series also has some performance changes with the addition of a mild hybrid system in the engines. The 2025 4 Series looks a bit different from its predecessors at first glance, with redesigned lights in front and back. The 4 Series also gets an updated infotainment system called iDrive 8.5.

What Are the 2025 4 Series Trims & Features?

The 2025 4 Series lineup starts with the 430i. This trim has heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, ambient interior lights, integrated navigation, wireless phone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 10-speaker sound system. It also has a 14.9-inch touchscreen display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. A sunroof is standard.

Next, the 430i xDrive adds standard all-wheel drive. Many packages are available to enhance this trim, including a heated steering wheel, proximity keyless entry, and a remote engine start system. You can get more safety aids, too, along with special appearance and handling packages.

The M440i is performance-oriented and has a sportier look to match. The M440i has performance tires and custom 19-inch wheels. This trim also has special headlights and taillights that add to its sporty image. A rear spoiler comes with the M440i, which also gets a standard dynamic handling package with upgraded brakes, a sport differential, and adaptive suspension dampers. The M440i adds the contents of the Convenience package, which has a heated steering wheel, proximity keyless entry, and remote engine start.

The M440i xDrive contains the M440i's features and adds standard all-wheel drive. This trim also has numerous add-on options, including a carbon exterior package. A Harman Kardon sound system, heated steering wheel, and remote engine start are optional upgrades.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 4 Series Have?

The first two 4 Series trims have a turbo 2.0L engine with four cylinders and an electric motor, producing 255 horsepower. The top two trims use a turbo 3.0L six-cylinder engine with an electric motor that produces 386 horsepower. The xDrive trims have all-wheel drive, and the others have rear-wheel drive.
