BMW Motorrad Begins the Next 100 Years
BMW has been making motorcycles for the last 100 years, and this is their big 100-year celebration. Everything started when Max Fritz designed BMW's first motorcycle in 1923. The first BMW Motorrad sports model - the BMW R 37 - came along just a year later. Since then, the brand has added its authentic BMW luxury to every motorcycle they design.
To celebrate this first 100 years, BMW has two special edition bikes this year: BMW R nineT 100 years and the BMW R 18 100 years.
