What's New for the 2024 BMW X1?

The 2024 BMW X1 is an SUV that provides just as much luxury as it does comfort and style. This year, a new M35i xDrive model is making its debut. The X1 M35i xDrive comes standard with a sportier look that includes a unique wheel and grille design. This model also has quad tailpipes along with blacked-out exterior trim to show off.

What Are the 2024 X1 Trims & Features?

There are two versions of the 2024 X1 to choose from. First up is the X1 xDrive28i. This trim level of the SUV has many popular features, including a power liftgate, a digital instrument panel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and configurable ambient lighting. Many tech features are included for the X1 xDrive28i as well, such as a 10.7-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto.

The new X1 M35i xDrive model is home to a wireless charging pad as well as an immersive 12-speaker sound system. Adaptive suspension dampers give this version of the X1 an even smoother ride.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 X1 Have?

Both trim levels of the 2024 X1 have a turbo 2.0L four-cylinder engine under the hood, along with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The output differs between the models, however. Choosing the X1 xDrive28i will mean getting up to 241 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Those numbers for the X1 M35i xDrive grow to 312 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard for both versions of the 2024 X1.

What Safety Features Does the 2024 X1 Include?

Sophisticated safety systems are included in every 2024 X1 model. The standard equipment list features blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. Parking is easier than ever with both front and rear sensors, and rear-cross traffic alert is included as well. Drivers can gain additional safety features, such as adaptive cruise control and a lane-centering system, by adding one of the available packages to their new X1.
