What Are the 2024 2 Series Trims & Features?
There are four trim levels available for the 2024 2 Series.
The base model is the 230i. This trim offers the choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, but it has a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. The 230i has a premium cabin with a quiet, comfortable ride quality and ergonomically designed and supportive seats. For infotainment, the base model has an 8.8-inch display screen and Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. A subscription-based WiFi connection is available. Steering wheel-mounted controls and voice commands are standard across the board.
The 230i xDrive has the same amenities as the 230i but comes with standard all-wheel drive.
The next trim in the lineup is the M240i. This model features a stronger engine for quicker acceleration. A few more packages are available, including a Dynamic Handling package and an M Sport package. These features give the M240i a sportier look with 19-inch wheels, sporty suspension, larger 19-inch tires, upgraded brakes, and an electronic rear differential. A head-up display and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen are also available for this trim. If you want better sound quality, you can also upgrade to a Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers.
The M240i xDrive is the same as the M240i but with all-wheel drive.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 2 Series Have?
Two engines are available to power the 2024 2 Series. The base engine that drives the 230i is a turbo four-cylinder engine with a power output of 255 horsepower. The M240i models have a turbo 3.0L six-cylinder engine that produces 382 horsepower.
What Safety Features Does the 2024 2 Series Include?
The 2024 2 Series has various advanced safety aids. Blind-spot monitoring is standard; all models have front and rear parking sensors. Self-parking assist is an optional safety feature. Adaptive cruise control is available.
