What's New for the 2022 BMW X5?

A limited-edition Black Vermilion model debuts for the 2022 BMW X5. This head-turning model shows off black and red on the exterior, while the interior is home to luxurious black leather upholstery featuring red piping. The dashboard is covered in leather as well, and the shift knob is glass. As for features, this model comes standard with a Harman Kardon sound system.

2022 X5 Trims & Features

With the new trim level joining the lineup, there are now five versions of the X5. The standard engine is a turbocharged inline-six beauty that produces 335-horsepower. There is also the xDrive45e model, which is equipped similarly to the sDrive40i but has a hybrid powertrain. It combines the standard engine with an electric motor to make 389-horsepower. For the M50i model, a turbocharged V8 making 523-horsepower comes standard. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard for all of the available powertrains.
