What's New for the 2018 BMW 3 Series?

The 2018 BMW 3 Series has a few minor changes from its previous model that allow it to be sleeker and more technologically advanced. It's now built with iDrive 6.0, which is an infotainment system that allows the driver or passenger to use a touchscreen for various controls and settings. The car is also available in a new exterior color shade, Sunset Orange Metallic, and interior trim color shade, Aluminum Dark Carbon, giving consumers more options when selecting their perfect vehicle. Those who want to own an edgy BMW that looks intimidating on the road can choose the new Shadow Sport package, which includes blacked out tail- and headlights, wheels, trim on the wheels, grille, and a spoiler that is closer to the ground.

2018 BMW 3 Series Trims & Features

Multiple trims are still available with the 2018 BMW 3 Series with the 320i, providing an exceptional driving experience that is memorable each time you get behind the wheel. Those who want to have more control of the vehicle can choose to have the six-speed transmission without spending any more money on the car. The 180-hp inline-four 320i and the 340i's 320-hp turbocharged inline-six are additional options for those who want to spruce up the vehicle and have a more thrilling ride. The iDrive 6.0 system is extremely responsive and easy to reach while sitting in the driver's seat. It's mounted high on the dashboard, making it easy to see without blocking visibility. The features offer a navigation system, Bluetooth Audio, an AUX input, Apple CarPlay, USB, Real-Time Traffic, Real-Time Weather, and Mobile Wifi.

Under the hood, the 2018 BMW 3 Series is built with a turbocharged inline-four or a turbocharged inline-six engine, depending on how much power you want to have while cruising on the road. Drivers can also take advantage of the diesel and gasoline-electric plug-in hybrid variants that are offered. With up to 320 horsepower you'll have the freedom to quickly get past a slow car on the highway or merge onto a busy street with ease. Although the car has plenty of power, it still offers a smooth and comfortable ride.
