We’re happy to announce that Andy Hoffman, co-founder of the Team Jack Foundation, is the recipient of the NASCAR Foundation’s 2016 Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award, which comes with a $100,000 charity donation. For over three years, Mr. Hoffman has worked hard to raise awareness and research funds for pediatric brain cancer, a mission BMW of Lincoln and Husker Automotive Group have proudly supported.

Mr. Hoffman and his wife, Brianna, started the Team Jack Foundation after their own son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since its inception in 2013, the charity has grown to be a leader in the fight for a cure for pediatric brain cancer. Team Jack has raised over $3 million for childhood brain cancer research, and has funded five research projects nationally.

“Receiving this award is truly a reflection of all of those amazing people that helped support the Team Jack Foundation since day one. Winning this award, literally, could be the difference between life or death for a child,” Hoffman said. “This movement could not have happened anywhere else in the country except Nebraska.”

It’s truly admirable the amount of work Mr. Hoffman has done to bring resources and hope to children diagnosed with brain cancer and their families. His passion and dedication to the cause is reflected in the charity’s success and his personal achievements. In fact, Mr. Hoffman recently helped successfully lobby for a 3 million dollar pediatric brain tumor program, which will be located at Fred and Pamela Buffet Cancer Center right here in Nebraska.

Here at Husker Auto Group, we are proud to be supporting such an incredible foundation! To learn more about the Team Jack Foundation and all the work it does for children with pediatric brain cancer, you can visit their website.
