What Are the 2024 BMW 3 Series Trims & Features?
There are three trim levels in the 2024 3 Series lineup.
The base model is called the 330i. The base trim has LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, heated exterior mirrors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. A sunroof is standard, and you'll get three-zone climate control. The seats are made of leather, and the front seats have a sport design. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and cloud-based navigation are standard, along with a 12.3-inch driver's display and a 14.9-inch center display screen.
The 330e has the same features as the base trim but a different powertrain.
The M340i has a sporty exterior design, an aerodynamic kit, keyless entry, and a sport suspension.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 BMW 3 Series Have?
There are several engines and powertrains for the 2024 3 Series.
Starting off the lineup is a turbo four-cylinder engine that powers the base model. This engine's top power output reaches 255 horsepower, and it generates 294 pound-feet of torque. You can get a rear-wheel drive or choose all-wheel drive instead. This engine is connected to an eight-speed transmission.
Next, the 330e has the same base engine, but it adds an electric motor to create a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Together, the engine and motor generate more power at 288 horsepower, and combined, they produce up to 310 pound-feet of torque. The 330e has about 22 miles of electric range with a fully charged battery.
The M340i has an upgraded turbo V6 engine capable of 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet torque. This engine is paired with a 48V mild hybrid system.
What Safety Features Does the 2024 BMW 3 Series Include?
Forward collision mitigation is standard with the 2024 3 Series. A Driving Assistance package is available with many more advanced safety aids, including extended traffic jam assist, active lane-keep assistance, side collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, front cross-traffic warning, and evasive steering assistance.
