What Is the BMW 3 Series Maintenance Schedule?

The BMW 3 Series is a high-quality car that requires specific maintenance at different intervals. There are many different service schedules for the 3 Series, so it's important to know which one your car needs.

The first service schedule is the "regular service schedule." You should follow the regular service schedule if your car has under 60,000 miles. This schedule includes an oil change, a brake system flush, and a transmission fluid flush.

If your car has over 60,000 miles, you will need to follow the "performance" schedule, which is for drivers who want to keep their vehicle in optimal condition.

The last schedule is the "M" schedule. It's for drivers who want to take their car to the next level and push its performance to the max. The M schedule includes all of the services in the performance schedule and additional ones.

15,000-Mile Service

The first service that needs to be done is the 15,000-mile service. The service includes an oil change, a brake system check and flush, and a safety features inspection.

30,000-Mile Service

The following service is the 30,000-mile service. The service includes another oil change and brake system check and flush. Also included are a fuel and air flirter inspection.

60,000-Mile Service

At this point, your breaks may need to be replaced. The 60,000-mile service includes a brake system replacement, an oil change, and a transmission fluid check. Your brake fluid, coolant, and transmission fluid will be changed if needed. In addition, we will inspect your battery to ensure you're getting full power.

90,000-Mile Service

The last service for the first three years is the 90,000-mile service. The service includes the same maintenance as the 60,000-mile service. Your timing belt, hoses, spark plugs, and power steering fluid will be replaced if needed.

Following your maintenance schedule

It's important to follow your maintenance schedule to keep your car in optimal condition. Not following the schedule can lead to decreased performance and shortened the life of your vehicle.
