Which Trims & Features are Available for 2020?

2020 3 Series contains its own trims with their own features that are suited to this model. As of now, the 3 Series only comes in the M340i trim model, although it does break down into different optional packages. To start off, the M340i does come standard and has a six-cylinder engine, along with 18-inch wheels, automatic wipers, tri-zone automatic climate control, and power-adjustable front seats.

The Premium package is one optional package for this model and includes features such as heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an improved heads-up display. The Executive package adds in some other features like front and rear parking sensors, an automated self-parking system, and adaptive LED headlights.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency

The 2020 BMW 3 Series has a new engine that can account for its needs when it comes to strength and output. An 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission is the mainstay of the 3 Series engine, complete with a rear-wheel drive, inline 6 cylinders and an all-wheel-drive option for any advanced packages. The engine can also deliver a 382 horsepower rating and kick out up to 369 foot-pounds of engine torque. When it comes to fuel, the 3 Series generally runs on premium unleaded gasoline and can hold over fifteen gallons.

2020 BMW 3 Series Safety Features

The BMW 3 Series is no exception when it comes to being a more secure vehicle for the future and protects both the driver and the occupants. An active blind-spot detection system is one newly added feature here and it works by alerting the driver with lights and a vibrating steering wheel if the vehicle is currently in a blind spot. Other standard safety features include rear door safety locks and child seat anchors for any younger and rear passengers.

Stability and traction have all seen improvements with an upgraded 4-wheel ABS system in place. A tire pressure monitoring light is installed to keep track of the wheels at all times. Emergency braking preparation is included to activate in the event of any brake damage or failure, which is also accompanied by a brake drying function to extend the life of the brakes.
