What's New for the 2019 BMW X6?

The Active Driving Assistant package is now standard on the X6 M. This package includes Lane Departure Warning, Front Crash Warning, and Pedestrian Warning. New additions also include Blind Spot Detection, Speed Limit Information and Apple CarPlay.

2019 X6 Trims & Features

The standard X6 has three available trims: sDrive35i, xDrive35i and xDrive50i. All trims include an abundance of common standard and optional features. The entertainment features include the following standard features: Primary monitor touchscreen, diversity antenna, wireless phone connectivity, 9.2-inch second row monitor, 205-watt amplifier, audio theft deterrent, CD-MP3 decoder, AM/FM radio, window grid and roof antenna, speed sensitive volume and steering wheel audio controls. Optional features include: DVD and digital media, HD Satellite radio, audio/video remote, 1200-watt premium amplifier, multi-source rear audio controls and WiFi hotspot internet access. Some convenience features include: audio and door mirror memory, emergency communication system, power folding passenger mirror and steering wheel mounted A/C controls. Exterior highlights include: Chrome exhaust tip, heated door mirrors, body-colored door handles and black rear bumper insert. The following packages are also available for all trims: Luxury Seating, Dynamic Handling, Parking Assistance and Convenience.

The X6 M sport model standard features include: 18-way power and heated seats, 4-zone climate control, hands-free tailgate, Apple CarPlay and Ultimate Care. Optional features include: Heated steering wheel, soft-closing auto doors, Parking Assist, heated rear seats, LED headlights, WiFi hotspot, side and top cameras and a heads-up display.

2019 BMW X6 Horsepower

All X6 standard trims feature a 300-hp, 3.0-liter I-6 gasoline direct injected engine coupled to a 8-speed automatic transmission w/OD and auto-manual. The suspension includes the following standard features: 19-inch wheels, auto-rear leveling suspension, rear coil springs, front and rear anti-roll bars, speed-sense steering, four wheel independent suspension, ride control and front gas shocks. Optional suspension features include: 20-inch wheels, steel spare wheel, adaptive suspension, sport suspension and rear air springs.

The muscle behind the X6 M is a twin-turbocharged 32-valve 4.4 liter V8 that transmits 567 horsepower to the all-wheel drive system via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The start/stop feature shuts off the engine during extended idle periods to improve efficiency. It has quick acceleration that can rival many sports cars.

The standard X6 trim levels include the following standard safety and security equipment: 3 point rear center seat belt, locking fuel door with power door locks, 1st and 2nd row curtain airbags, front seat belt pre-tensioners, occupant sensing airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, panic alarm, immobilizer, traction control, forward collision mitigation, brake assist, 4 ABS channels, dual front side impact airbags, tracker system, 3 fixed rear head restraints, electronic stability control with anti-roll, side-impact bars and daytime running lights.

The X6 M includes many of the items above plus Active Driving Assistant, Blind Spot Detection, Speed Limit Info and a night-vision camera with pedestrian protection.
