Lincoln BMW Dealer Researches the New X1

The BMW X1 is a compact crossover with room for five passengers. It's available in an xDrive28i trim grade that comes standard with Bluetooth, HD radio, a 6.5-inch iDrive infotainment display, dual-zone automatic climate control and a power liftgate - sure to be your new favorite car feature when you need to access the truck while your hands are full. If you buy a 2016 BMW X-Series in Lincoln and select the X1, you'll also enjoy the SUV's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It gets 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. AWD and an eight-speed transmission are standard.
The BMW X3 is also on the compact side of the luxury crossover class. It comes in several trim levels, including sDrive28i, xDrive28i, xDrive28d and xDrive35i. Standard amenities on the base model are very similar to the X1, but if you choose a trim above the base you'll get extra standard features, such as a panoramic sunroof and adaptive xenon headlights for example. X3 offers three different engines including a 240-hp turbocharged four-cylinder, 180-hp turbo-diesel four-cylinder and 300-hp turbo inline-6.
Next is the 2016 BMW X5, a midsize crossover SUV with room for five passengers in standard configuration or room for seven if the optional third row is selected. It also comes in several trim levels, including xDrive35i, sDrive35i, xDrive35d, xDrive50i and an all-new xDrive40e plug-in hybrid. A performance-focused X5 M model is also available. Notable engines include the turbo-diesel which gets 255 hp and an excellent 413 pound-feet of torque, and the new-this-year plug-in hybrid comes with a turbo four-cylinder and electric motor combination, which yields 308 hp and 332 pound-feet of torque. The X5 M gets a 567-hp turbo V8, making it a good choice for shoppers who want the most power they can get.
Finally, the 2016 BMW X-Series in Lincoln is offered with a midsize X6 crossover that's available in sDrive35i, xDrive35i, xDrive50i and performance-focused X6 M models. Depending on the selected trim a turbocharged V6 engine with 300 hp and turbo V8 with 445 hp are available. The X6 M gets the same V8 as the X5 M.
