BMW of Lincoln Shows Off the New BMW 740i
Completely redesigned for the new model year, the 2016 BMW 7-Series in Lincoln offers new levels of luxury and performance. One of the most noted changes to the sedan includes its now standard long wheelbase, which results in expanded passenger room, especially for rear seat guests.
From safety to entertainment, 2016 BMW 7-Series reviews also say the sedan is more tech-savvy than ever. Adaptive cruise control has been added to the Driver Assistance Plus II package and the sedan debuts a first-ever Gesture Control system, enabling users to control the iDrive 5.0 system without even touching the screen.
Another progressive feature on the new 2016 BMW 7-Series in Lincoln is a captivating Panoramic Sky Lounge LED roof. It features multicolor lighting and more than 15,000 engravings that create quite a vision when passengers look up to the sky. This and other unique features complement the car's list of basic amenities, which include four-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, Bluetooth and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, among many other features.
Underpinning the car is a new Carbon Core frame that offers a lower center of gravity, lightweight design and firm build. The new frame helps enhance everything from handling to ride feel and efficiency. Several engines are available once again as well and they all offer plenty of muscle and strong acceleration. BMW 740i models receive a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine that delivers 320 horsepower, while 750i trims feature a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine with 445 horsepower.
