The base 320i trim gets standard equipment like 17-inch alloys with run-flat tires, automatic headlights, foglights, remote keyless entry, push-button start, automatic wipers, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, six-way manually adjustable front seats, leatherette premium vinyl upholstery, a leather-wrapped tilt/telescope steering wheel and much more. Various packages are also available on all trims of the BMW 3-Series to give drivers even more amenities than those mentioned above.
Moving on to what powers this voluptuous vehicle, shoppers are sure to be impressed with the available engine configurations. The 320i trim gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that cranks out 180 horses and 200 lb.-ft. of torque. But if you're looking for more power you'll find it in the 328i model, which produces 240 horses and 255 lb.-ft. of torque. BMW's top-tier model of the 3 Series offers drivers the most power with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that pumps out 320 horses and 330 lb.-ft. of torque.
In terms of safety, the 2016 3-Series is well-equipped with high-end technologies. Each 3-Series model comes standard with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and front knee airbags. On top of those features, a rearview camera, surround- and side-view cameras, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, frontal collision warning and frontal collision mitigation with automatic braking are also offered on all trims as optional.
